Winterpeg's population is growing and the economy is doing well there... plus teams like Nashville will be looking for a new city when hockey starts up because they will have lost all the fans. The salary cap will help out too.

People there are VERY excited at the probability of it happening. I would say that there's a 100 percent chance of it happening, and that the worst case scenario is that the Jets come back by the end of the decade. It could happen as soon as the season after next.

Thanks to you, the Cup has been moldering away in the guard shack outside a retirement community near Tampa :puke: for over a year now. Everyone in Shady Acres asks, "When did we get that gigantic doggie dish?"

It is to be hoped that Jarome Iginla signs with a real team someday. Is there still such a thing as unrestricted free agency under the new regime? I'd hate to think of him wasting his whole career there!
