The 15-track disc is being distributed through the band's new label, Guerilla Funk Recordings, and features guest spots from fellow rap activist Paris and former N.W.A. cohort MC Ren. The record will be P.E.'s first since 2002's uneven Revolverlution, and while a full scale supporting tour has yet to be announced, the outfit currently have the following two dates scheduled in the U.S.
08-19 Honolulu, HI - Kapi'Olani Community College
09-03 Detroit, MI - Chene Park
And briefly, longtime fans should also note the band's 1988 classic, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, was recently spotted at the #2 spot on Spin's newly-published list of the greatest albums of the past decade-- just behind Radiohead's OK Computer. Hail to the thieves!
