what would be a good password
I am looking for a good password for my work PC. I need numbers and small and big letters in it. Any ideas?

1. How about something like
M1ssHunnyChrch

:) (for passwords, I often change letters into numbers such as a number 1 replacing an i or an l)

Then I'll use unusual spellings or abbreviations.

11. Why not post your credit card number here?
Would be so much easier to come up with a password for you if I knew what your credit card number was.
:silly:

12. I don't even KNOW my credit card number
I barely use it.

And I wanted to have ideas what to use or how to come up with a good password.

password no more.
Even if 20 people know your password, it's not a good password anymore. A good password is something you don't tell anyone.

18. something that makes you smile since you'll think of it everyday
my Freebird12004 password is a name that I don't even mention anymore ... I don't really want to go into that user-name except to check on info from old PMs so the password will never be forgotten, it's a reminder to me 'don't go there' BTW he became a DUer after we went different ways

19. My password algorithm:
Pick a line from a poem or a song.

Use the first letter of each word.

Pick one of the following to capitalise seemingly at random:
a) capitalise A-M, lowercase n-z
b) capitalise only vowels
c) inverse of a or b

Substitute numbers for letters that sort of resemble them:
1 I
2 Z
3 E

etc

This results in a hash that looks like random characters to somebody else, but is easily remembered by you.

Thus,

"Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary"

becomes the following possible password:

0UAmdw1pwAw (First character is a zero, not the letter O)
