If I get one, it will have to be used.

18. Well, think about it
Audial, audio, and auto. All with the short "o" sound. I can see where some people would pronounce it that way.

A friend and her husband were out driving once some time ago, and they saw a car, and Denise said, "That's a S-A-A-B." Jimmy, her hubby, said, "No, that's not how you say it--it's "sa-ab." So they were gone a little further and they spotted a second car, and Denise said "Look, it's a Mister 2!" Jimmy gave up. But it's interesting the different takes on car pronounciations.

23. Norfolk Inway!
We must pronounce correctly.

Verizon should be like "verily, verily, I say unto thee..." not as the last two syllables of "Horizon".

Further, this new bank "Wachovia" is pronounced "Walk over ya" when it should be more Orwellian "Watch over ya."
