This one pisses me off too, you lovely Americans ALWAYS get this right.

I suppose there are four main possible permutations, but I'm fairly sure the locals call themselves Ozzies

9. Ok, so you mean someone who would pronounce Awe differently than Oz.

To me, the vowel is the same. An AH with a slightly rounded sound.

But, yeah Ozzies.... sounds right. :)
