Any Floridians notice a blessed lack of mosquitoes?
It is sort of suprising to me. Normally this time of year I am scratching away at numerous mosquito bites, but even after all the rain last year and this year, I don't even remember having to shoo one away.

Strange, but good.

2. Where I live kind of near the ocean
I never see any mosquitos. Ever. But go west 10 miles and they are the size of airplanes!

I noticed an insane amount of mosquitos at the campsite that I was at over the weekend.

10. Mosquitoes like blood
They are over at the * compound because we all know how much blood they have on their hands.

I was in Orlando recently and I didn't get bit. I came to the conclusion that mosquitoes didn't like the old whipper snappers blood anymore.

13. I think that it's because they're spraying like crazy to kill them.
Couple cases of West Nile, and the County Orkin men head out with their death fog, spraying every puddle and drainage ditch. That's gotta be good for the environment.

Not that I want mosquito bites either...

14. I know what you mean
I was in Florida last week, and I did notice that I didn't get attacked nearly as much as I had expected. While I did get bit a couple of times, there were a couple of occasions where I should have gotten absolutely mauled and came away with only a couple of bites. So yeah, they definitely are more passive than usual.

15. ditto in Minnesota. Far fewer skeets than 2 years ago. Easily.
Maybe it's not been raining as much.

Maybe the mosquito extermination methods are improving.

Oh well! Just so long as I don't grow a third foot, I don't care.
