I think they may have (Finally!) ran digital cable down my street!

I just saw the cable trucks running new line and I know I our street was on the list for the upgrade.

Do you know what this means?

I will once again be connected to at a speed of 1.5 Mbps/256 Kbps, instead of the current 28.8 - 45.2 (It's like living in the 90's!) that my phone lines support.

I'm calling the office in the morning to find out for sure. Oh, please, please, let it be so!

I had WiFi for a while but due to the distance I was from the nearest tower and all of the trees here, it was set up on a poll that was like 75' tall. It was a beacon whenever we had a lightening storm.

$42.95 a month. I know that's not cheap but it's way cheaper than I paid for the WiFi I used to have.
