Hilary "I Support George W. Bush by singing at the Bush Twins Inaugural Concert" Duff has had TWO ALBUMS (3 if you count a Christmas CD) and she has a GREATEST HITS CD coming out (fluffed up with a few remixes and "Our Lips Are Sealed" by the Go-Gos.)

NICE fucking work if you can get it!

(They do this kind of thing ALL THE TIME in Japan. It's VERY common in the world of "JPOP"...maybe her management was paying attention).

15. I think it's a reference to a song of hers.
I have no idea how I know that.

2. American pop stars are becoming the equivalent of Japanese idol singers...
overhyped, relatively untalented nonentities whose entire personae are fabricated, who have a run of a few albums, and then vanish, never to be heard from again (or so one hopes).

8. There was a JPOP star named Sarina Suzuki...
...she was known primarily as an actress, couldn't carry a tune to save her life, made 2 albums anyway, appeared on all of the shows like Hey! Hey! Hey! and Music Station, released a greatest hits CD, and vanished off the face of the Earth.

3. Bad Company's first two albums could easily be compiled into
a greatest album if they were done. Perhaps she is finished.
