I have a job assignment until the end of August!
Edited on Wed Aug-03-05 04:17 PM by Sannum
The staffing agency called this afternoon. The assignment is until almost the end of the month. There might be a possibility for them to hire me full-time after this date. I start tomorrow! I canceled my job interview. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is something that involves long term prospects. ***fingers crossed***

What I like about this assignment, is that it is at a non-profit progressive organization. I would rather work for one of those than something more corporate. It is what I have done for years on a volunteer basis, and something I love, so now, at least for this month, I am getting paid for it!:7

I did not get the job that I interviewed for last week, but this has made my mood brighten just a bit:)

4. Terrific !!
I'm working temp right now but may move into another position with same company on permanent basis. I've been here two months, with another month to go on my contract. Supervisor is VERY PLEASED with my work and although she may not have a permanent place for me in her department, is strongly encouraging me to apply for the other positions.

Best to you !!:toast:
