I'm so proud of her, I just have to share this
here is something my neice sent me. She is 14 and I've raised her for the last few years. She recently moved back with her father, who has decided to make positive changes in his life and has finally decided to accept his responsibility as a father.

some body posted this at gurl.com tell me what u think i started to read this and it did not seem right

Well first of all Bush is not a dumb person...he actually has a higher IQ than Kerry...so you are wrong there, and if you can tell me some reason why he himself is ruining our economy then let me know. How could it be one persons fault? It is Americas fault! Also, what is President Bush supposed to do?...Let us all sit here while people terrorize us and just be like...please people stop terrorizing us. He is trying to protect us with the only way he can. If there was another way, i am sure he would do that. You can also let me know how us "wasting" 300 billion dollars is effecting you....just b/c you know that information doesnt mean it is effecting you in any way...which it isnt. Stop complaining about things that dont even apply to you. President Bush is such a caring president and you saying that innocent people are dieing everywhere doesnt mean anything to me, b/c i can tell that you are probably pro abortion.... now that is innocent "people" dieing....at least our soldiers are dieing for a reason. I really feel badly for you, that you have to think so negatively about EVERYTHING. i don't know if it matters to you, but i will pray for you. i hope you have a better attitude towards things.

my reply

No, it's not right, You have learned well my child. I'm so proud of you. The person who wrote this is obviously out of touch with reality and possibly forgot to take their medication.

You yourself have seen first hand how the little monkeys policies have affected you. No health care, bad schools. Nearly 2000 of Americas children dead in a war based on the lie that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Iraqis did not bomb the world Trade center on Sept 11 2001, Saudi Arabs did. Bush has taken no action against the Sauds, in fact he was holding hands and kissing Crown Prince Abdulla (now the current king as I'm sure you know that their king recently died) when he was in the US recently. There is so much crap in the posters writing, that I really don't know where to begin debunking it. No, bush has not done this alone, a group of people referred to as Neocons have paved the way and aided him in his quest to enslave America. You've seen how many people are out of work, Me and aunt Jo included.

On the part of the posters remarks about abortion, no- one is pro abortion, and I would venture to say that the poster is not really pro life. If the poster was really pro-life then they would work towards things like healthcare for everyone not just those who can afford it. If the poster were really prolife, they would be against the death penalty and war. But no, these kind people only care about babies before they're born, once they're out of the womb they could care less if the child is hungry, poor, uneducated or abused.

Your posters comment about 300 billion wasted doesn't affect us couldn't be more ignorant. How many more children could receive health care, just think what that kind of money could do for education in this country, how many hungry babies could that money feed? But no, they think it's more important to use that money to build bombs so they can have their wars and let me tell you, war is just a money making racket. No one benefits except corporations (which these days have more individual rights than people have).

No dear, your poster is a little fool and hopefully bushes devastating policies will never affect her. I'll pray for her... that she never has a family member killed in this so called war on terror, I'll pray that she'll never need a life saving medical proceedure that her parents can't afford to pay for, I'll pray that she'll never know hunger or wonder where her and her familys next meal is going to come from. Your poster says that she doesn't care about innocent people dying, I wouldn't worry about her praying for you, I don't think GOD listens to christians like that.

Love you too

Aunt Cathy

3. Notadmblnd, thanks for sharing! Your explanations were
understandable, your niece's curiosity is admirable, and I'm fairly astonished 13 year olds are talking politics!

8. Apparently they are.
here's a couple responses to the OP she just sent me. Looks like we're raising a pretty good group of liberal young ladies. I'm gonna have to take a look at that teen site she spends time at www.gurl.com and see what it is like.

There are alot of arguements here on this subject, I am thinking about posting some stuff from the site u get all your info from. Should I?

Woah, even if you didn't mean my comment I still dont think you have a right to make an accusation on her opinions on abortion just because she doesn't like Bush. That was one of the rudest things anyone could have said. So congrats, all you Republicans are the same. You always have to put words in someones mouths or state their opinions on a matter that isn't even discussed on any of these posts. Bush probably could have done a better job by sitting around and watching the fireworks oh wait..those are bombs, going off in a country that they didnt need to be going off in. And wasting $300 billion is affecting EVERYONE because of his stupid mistakes. And unless you have proof that he's a caring president don't make a statement like that. And just because she's negative towards a issue that isnt really positive doesnt mean she's always negative. Get your facts straight and stop making accusations. Read more into your politics, look at both sides, and realize this is all for Oil. And once you realize that, read up on people.

whoa. ok. thats the thing with you damn republicans..you guys are mean bit*hes!

That does effect us, WE will have to pay for that deficit when are parents die..i dont want to eaither, because that is a wast of money..we shouldn't be spending all that money for no reason. Cutting taxes helps no one, dont you people get that. It helps the rich NOT the middle class or poor people. I meen my mom lost her job because her school system lost so much money...and whos fault is that?? **BUSH** with his "No Child Left Behind" yeah "No Child Left Behind" MY ASS!!!!!! He can't even fund it, we dont have enough money.

Our soldiers are dying for a good cause! are you on crack?? There dying because Bush wants to finish off his daddys work. They are dying because OIL!!! Thats not a good cause. Dont bring abortion into this. I am pro-choice....

You can go eat ####..you fu*king a-hole...damn i HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE republicans!!!

7. Thanks, she's heard me rant often enough
she's a good girl and sometimes I wonder if my kids get it. It's little things like this that tell me they're paying more attention than I sometimes think. Just her one little sentence in her e-mail, brought tears to my eyes.

When she came to my home, she needed stability and love, sometimes she resented both. I'm just so proud that she has learned to think for herself and has the confidence to question things that don;t sound right to her.

6. Nice response
And it's really cool that your neice is able to see through the bullshit, even if she doesn't know the details.
