17. my husband bought those big pretzel cans and that's

what he chewed on instead when he wanted to smoke. Helps with the oral fixation part. He had a lot harder time quitting than I did.

you have to accept that you WON'T be smoking anything. You have to really want not to smoke. I'm serious. Think how much better everything will smell, taste, breathe in and out. I'm serious. Plus you have more energy, too. (Did you try one of those relaxation and smoking cessation classes? )

Now when we go out to somewhere where there is a lot of smoke, we hurl our clothes into the basement when we get home! ;)

Ok, I'll stop. There is nothing worse than a reformed ( but basically empathetic) smoker.
