What is a sig line?

Why don't I know what they are and how to see them? Silly question I know, but someone please tell me!! :crazy:

1. They're at the bottom of every post. Set them up in your profile.

The last box is called 'Signature' and you can put almost anything in there, including .gif and .jpg files

Do you see the quote Hunter S. Thompson at the bottom of my post here? That's my sig line.

You can add a sig line to your posts by clicking Options at the top of the page. Then click "Edit Profile" and scroll down to signature. That's where you can type in your Sig Line, add photos, etc.

You're still mentioned in MY sig line! Now that I think about it, a post of yours was responsible for me looking up the manipulated version of Bernoulli's equation which is the second half of my sig line. Granted the fonts and super/subscripts got mangled so it's really hard to follow now. I kinda like that though--it's more cryptic this way! :)

ie just good enough to know how much smarter other people really are. (Even though I believe Solieri (spelling--I have no idea!) was in fact a respected composer.) At any rate--it was your post asking if a sheet of mathematical formulae could be considered art, that set me off on my Bernoulli hunt.

Personally, I think all expressions of creativity can be art, be they painting, music, science, engineering, or what-have-you. Granted noty all creativity is necessarily a positive.

Aside from that, I'm okay, I now have a professional nemesis (never had one of those before!) the rivers are about dried up--we did get a bit of rain last night though and my new kayakl was hung up in customs for WEEKS. On the plus side I am well over half way (work wise) to completing my Master's degree and I've been getting a bunch of fresh air and exercise!

This text appears on EVERY message you make.

Change the sig line and the changes are instantaneous and retroactive.

...you can make a more elaborate one.

for example, can you see my crack smoking smiley, my weird animal and my "Viva Zuni" flag? That is my sig line
