It's a bad air day in Mass.
Recommendation from the government: don't exercise out of doors, and elderly and the very young should hold their breath til tomorrow.

I'd like to give a big thanks to all the midwest states for all the fucking air pollution!

I am in the midwest and IIRC I have never experienced a bad air day.

2. That's because it all blows east!
Much of the Northeast's pollution is due to dirty plants in the midwest states. The EPA was suing them to clean up until BushCo took power and dropped the suits.

Don't know what air pollution you are referring to.

4. Hey!
:hi:

Just another thread about the nasty ass red states I guess. The air is clean and clear here. I guess the eastern wind does not blow all the nasty stuff here from the west coast so we get to stay clear?

Not that I am complaining about the western states, I love going west.

5. Dirtiest air I have ever seen
was in Pittsburgh, PA. I would think the pollution from there would have a bigger effect on east coast air than any we may send that way. But I really don't think we are sending any dirty air east.

6. We do have our
pollution problems like everyone else but it isn't so bad that it would be affecting the eastern states. Oh well, the midwest is a lot larger than I consider midwest but nobody asked me.

Just must be a bad day and instead of kicking the dog we were easier. I understand. If everyone who complained about us would help the few of us working out here we might have a chance. I should not have ever answered this one. My mood was not the best either. BUT, I have found the PandaCam so I am much better now. :)

9. I have a Mac
and it's weird the stuff I can't do on it. I gave up trying to figure it out after a couple months of reloading the OS and looking for advice online. As long as I can check my email and get on DU, I don't care anymore.

I am headed over to my mom's here soon and I will get on my sister's puter to look at the baby panda. I was thinking of showing the website to my mom. She may get a kick out of it.

10. I hope your mother
is doing better. She really might enjoy it. When they are not napping it is really fun to watch.

11. She has such a short attention span
She was interested for about a minute.

Tonight, she kept saying she wanted to go to bed. I got over there at 5:30 and by 5:45 she started telling me she wanted to go to bed. I asked her why she wanted to go to bed so early. She said because she is confused. So I asked her what she was confused about and she asked why I hadn't told her she had a doctor's appt tomorrow. Well, I had told her but I just played along and we talked about the doctor's appt, what time, who was picking her up, which of us were going with her, etc. Then she seemed satisfied. Exactly 3 minutes later, she said she wanted to go to bed.

She takes a lot of patience. :banghead:

BTW, I hope you didn't take my comment about UMKC the wrong way. It is a great med school and I really don't understand where this idiot who is working on ID in KS came from and how he ended up teaching there.
