5. i'm having good luck and bad luck

about a month ago, i applied at least 10 different places... not one called back. until i moved to dayton, i applied a few more jobs and finally got them to call back. the two, i didn't seem to be interested after the interview.

then the job at best buy.....argh... didn't go well. it was my final interview (at this point, i knew i gonna get the job) ten minutes into the interview, the interviewer had to leave to take care of business, fine. five minutes later he came back said it'll be another minute. well from that moment, i waited a whole stinking hour for him, and still he didn't come back for the interview. so in meantime of that hour i asked couple assoicates if they knew where he was and they could page him. well, he didn't call back or nothing. so i waited another five more mins.. then i started to get very impatient. i went to the assistant manager and asked her where he was, and she said he had to take care of a call... so i told her i've waited an hour for him to come back, and he hasn't... so she told me she'll finish it. walked back to the table, i thought to myself, if this is how he's going to treat me, how will he treat me later, and my customers once im hired? so i basically told that to the manager and told her i was no longer interested.... she insisted she'll do the interview and complete the process of hiring me, but i turned her down. so she appologized for the inconvience and sorry she couldn't get me to stay. ........i was happy she did her part to correct the problem, but when it comes to a job and working hard, i take it very seriously. so that guy sure did it to himself, and they lost a very hard worker. ...........hope that didn't spoil ya good times....

on the bright side, today i got a call from a nursing home in kettering, asking for an interview for tomorrow. HELL YEAH! i'm hoping i'll work in either the activities or assisted living, but i'll work as a nursing aid if i have to..

I too, have an interview today, it is my third interview for this job, so I have a feeling it will be offered to me. The great thing about this company is that they emphasize education, and are willing to reimburse for just about anything learning related.
