It's funny, but there are parts of american culture about which I am utterly and totally clueless and ignorant. And it often surprises me when I am put face to face with something that apparently 99% of all people know, and which I've never even heard/seen, not even peripherally.

Obviously, most of common American clture I despise and don't buy into, but at least I usually see a commercial, or a billboard, or an allusion to shit somewhere.
