Does anyone know how to modify normal pants into breakaway pants?

6. you have to be really careful how you do it or

you could end up with underpants, and he just had a baby. Underpants, feel free to chime in here, I got nothing else.

Take them to a tailor and ask them to turn 'em into velcro breakaways - it shouldn't cost more than 30 or 40 bucks to do, depending on the style of pants.

8. I have an old pair of pant's that has developed a "run" down the left side

so I'll just complete the tears and install velcro. Duct tape may come into play here as well, making it look kind of like a Red-Green project

once, you could undermine the seams. use that little doohickie that misunderestimator pictures, there. cut the threads every third stitch or so. more than once, velcro.

Make sure you don't get the industrial strength or they may not breakaway easily. Get some real cheap flimsy velcro.
