Hey, DU'ers; Any of you ever look FORWARD to in-laws visiting?

Mine are on the way here now from Missouri. House has got to be cleaned, bed linens changed, food they like stocked up on, etc, etc, etc. I like my in-laws and they like me so I'm lookin forward to seeing them. Just not all the work around the house in preparation for their arrival. Know what I mean?

I have a great set of In-laws.

All my wife's brothers are either MFAs or PhDs and we have incredibly sane and deep discussions about literature, art and politics....it's actually fun talking with them.

4. Mine are almost 17 hours away...

So I don't get to see them that often. They accepted me with open arms. That's something in an age when gays are so often hated for one stupid reason or another. Greekspeak and I have been together for almost 10 years! MY parents don't even want to TALK about my relationship and have no desire to meet him. :cry:

So, I'm very happy that Greekspeak's parents love me as much as they do him.
