Randi just said that when Prince enters a room...
...his employees/entourage have to lower their eyes.

Wouldn't they be looking right at him if they did that? What is he, like four feet tall?

1. This would appear to be foolishness from the '80's
when they ate inordinate amounts of cotton candy quite frequently.

He has since lost a child and become a Jehovah's witness. Too bad 'cause he was immensely talented.

2. He stepped on my foot one time.
This was in 1978 at 18 yo gay club in LA. He was totally cruising me and step on my foot. I had on sandals and he had on some big ass boots.

7. Who can blame you -I am a big Prince fan, but find him a little scary. . .

He is amazingly talented - if I could play guitar like him, I would be satisfied. Yet that is considered just one of his minor skills.

However, social skills seem to be a problem!

thanks for the anecdote --

4. A friend of mine was his guitar roadie.
He got fired because The Petite Purple Potentate saw him with an unlit cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

The guy is strange.

6. We dance to Prince in Tampa
It's a favorite of the late night lindyhoppers (swing dancers) in Tampa along with new R & B and hip-hop. It makes for some very sexy styling variations, believe it or not!

8. Shades of "Call Me MISS Ross!"
I don't doubt this story for a second. Sometimes, when a person gets to a level of celebrity, the ego REALYY kicks in.

A shame, really.

10. Prince is really a pompous ass
Great music, extremely talented, but the man is batshit crazy and has an ego the size of Alaska.

You mean the thing formerly known as Prince?

You mean the symbol formerly known as Prince?
