There's a praying mantis on my window ledge

We've been staring each other down for about 5 minutes. Such a cool looking little bugger, I was hoping to see it spring into action and take down an unsuspecting insect but no such luck. It seems quite content on sunning itself.

it's pretty big (probably 3-4 inches) so I'm guessing it's a female. That would have been so awesome to see up close though

they show similar things up close with a powerful camera and mics - it's amazing.
