Sorry, it's the 21st freaking century, and men want/ need to be just as involved with the kiddies as women are. :(

So men are automatically great parents and career holders/breadwinners, but women are crap because they do both? I mean, what, they expect women to live off welfare and have kids, HELLO, you need some kind of income to raise them???????????

I'm tired of uppity faux feminists/uptight women putting down members of their own sex.

4. you're absolutely right, it's still like the 50's in that respect.

my dad worked 12-16 hours a day and was a better parent than my stay at home mom.
so go figure.

Being a great parent depends on your character and efforts, not whether or not you work inside or outside the home. :)

are expected to provide their kids with these days. even though my mom was full time, she'd be arrested for negligence in this day in age.
i don't know a single mom whose husband does anywhere 1/2 of the work or spends nearly as much time with the kids. these are otherwise enlightened men, happy to leave their partners holding the bag. it's still the norm.
