get out of my car, and there, positioned above all the pumps are video screens blasting commercials for the new Dukes of Hazard movie. Has anybody else seen these things? Talk about a new low in environmental mind pollution. I wish I had a baseball bat.

1. Oh yeah.

I've seen them (not sure which station) in Tulsa. They are more irritating than jock itch.

2. I've seen them at a couple of gas stations.

I now avoid those gas stations. (I think it's only Esso stations so far in the Toronto area.)

3. Shell usually has CNN or USATODAY on.

Fortunately we don't have such stuff up here. Wasn't too long ago we still had pumps with that glass window with the spinner in it that was supposed to "prove" that you really were getting gas pumped into your Model A John Deere.

Adbuster's "TV BeGone" it supposed to be able to turn off any television. gotta get one of those.
