NOT fun....

I am moving from an efficiency apartment that I've lived in for 12 years to a one bedroom apartment. It's amazing the stuff one accumulates through the years.

Thank god for freecycle.org because I've been able to freecycle a lot of stuff that other wise may have ended up in the trash and that would have been a shame.

I just moved and threw out 5 bins of stuff in the process.:wtf:

2. I just got done helping my girlfriend move

God, I'm tired. And my muscles hurt. What ever inspired people to build higher than one story?

She has sooo much stuff. And we threw a lot of it away. Tomorrow, I'm going to go dispose of half my worldly goods, try to reclaim my apartment.

3. Don't throw stuff out in the garbage....FREECYCLE

it...Go to http://freecycle.org/ and look for a city near you to join the e mail list. You OFFER things and people arrange with you to pick up stuff you no longer want nor need.

I have freecycled the following over the last week and a half
Approx 20 bags of clothes I've not worn in YEARS
Two NON WORKING VCRs (the freecycler hopes to cull them for parts to repair one he has)
A CPU
Many cassette tapes
Many VHS tapes
A boombox with dual cassette recorders and three CD tray (Aiwa)
A Palm IIIc

Just think, without the Internets, this stuff would have been thrown away.

Yes, I had too much stuff. Not anymore thanks to freecycle.org.
