KitchenWitch's Stupid Question O' the Day #88
Is the Lounge DU's equivalent of the children's table at Thanksgiving dinner?

9. wonderful!
Walked around a very small county fair on Friday night, lots of 4H exhibits, watched chainsaw wood carving, saw racing pigs, listened to live country bands, left there for a late supper in AC.

Slept late (7:30) yesterday morning, ate lots of fresh fruit salad (prepared by my friend) while we talked the morning away sitting outside on the shady back terrace.

Found one of my house-mates at home when I walked in at home yesterday afternoon, shanghaied him onto the back of my trike and off we went for an early supper & a very long sunset ride at 55 to 70 MPH *note to self* must wear leather coat when riding after dark....brrr

after my appointment with my Craniosacral Therapist this morning ... I'm going to go back out there on my trike again for 4 to 6 hours = busy weekend

~ so that's it in the condensed version

How is your weekend going?

10. Have had to be kind of sedentery (not what I planned)
Very long story - but am going to a pool party this afternoon, and dropping my son off at my cousin's farm for a week.

12. mine was built by a local business who only sells Trikes now
Mr. Holesapple used to ride motorcycles with his wife until his health made that impossible. That's when he built his first trike. It's always been a family business and young Bob does a mighty fine job on building & repairing them.

I've decided to have mine repainted this winter. It's bright yellow & black .... the bees are attracted to it which can be very scary while you're sitting still waiting for a red light to change. I don't want to be a Queen Bee if it's gonna hurt = I'm allergic to pain!

14. LOL!
Well don't paint it to look like a flower, either.

 Those bees must be like, "Look at THAT hot momma queen bee! Lets go live with her!"

15. The next paint job will look more like a slice of watermelon tourmaline.
I want a burgundy fading upward into a magenta and then into a dark pagan green with a gold dust clear coat.

I'm not asking for too much glitz, am I?

hmmm ~ hot momma queen bee! not a bad image ~ not bad at all

3. I think it's more like a reception ...
something for people who aren't worth a dinner and can't be trusted to be sober after 6pm.

13. I would say yes
This is where I come to act up and have flame wars (equivalent of food fights to me). You can get a hug or a punch, either way there is always someone here to offer it. Plus you can work on your people skills. You can figure out how to say what you mean and learn to maneuver the big boards by practicing here. (which fork do I use) last but not least it's more relaxed and fun.
