You're pretty lucky - you live in his district. I don't live near Conyers's district.

11. Sort of
I was born and raised in Detroit, spent 26 years of my life there and even went to high school with Conyers' niece before I moved to Chicago in '91. I will always consider Michigan my home state and Illinois my adopted one. :-)

and doing a fine job on a very safe seat. It was once Pat Schroeder's seat, you know.

Salazar (one of the 14 people that saved filibusters, but I still don't like how he did it) and Dullard represents me.

Hopefully we'll be kicking out Dullard in '08, and putting Colorado back to its populist roots. FoF needs to be taxed VERY heavily and moved out of the state, into somewhere remote, like Idaho or SC, but anywhere but Colorado. And take their fundies with them. (Wyoming'll even do, although I can see Wyomians protesting about that - since they have Dave Freudthal (sp?) as their governor)

Joe Biden has only been a Senator for 32 years! Strom was there for nearly 50!
