Need some help with a movie - CONSUME
Can't think of it, have never seen the whole thing but in it a man (central character) finds? a pair of glasses that allow him to see the REAL world. Turns out those glossy madison avenue adverts really are about mind control and much of the government and authority has been taken over by parasitic aliens.

What is the movie?

Thanks.

8. The Arrival?
Zane Ziminski is fired from NASA after picking up unidentified signals from a distant location in space. His curiosity soon turn to sheer terror as he travels to Mexico, where a series of unexplained events lead him to believe that there are aliens all over the world. He gathers evidence to support this theory but will he ever have the chance to broadcast the 'facts' alive?

Businessmen and govt agents turn out to be aliens. Nto sure if this is the movie you mean. Charlie Sheen was in it.

10. Have that one, it was THEY LIVE I was thinking of
I really like the Arrival though too. Love how it starts out with a meadow in the middle of Antartica.

Full Synopsis - They Live

John Carpenter wrote and directed this science fiction thriller about a group of aliens who try to take over the world by disguising themselves as Young Republicans. Wrestler Roddy Piper stars as John Nada, a drifted who makes his way into an immense encampment for the homeless. There he stumbles upon a conspiracy concerning aliens who have hypnotized the populace through subliminal messages transmitted through television, magazines, posters, and movies. When Nada looks through special Ray-Bans developed by the resistance leaders, the aliens lose their clean-cut "Dan Quayle" looks and resemble crusty-looking reptiles. Nada joins the underground, teaming up with rebel-leader Frank (Keith David) to eradicate the lizard-like aliens from the body politic. ~ Paul Brenner, All Movie Guide
