Ugh. I got an ear infection...

Had to go to ER Saturday night due to ear pain and found out I had an ear infection....great... so now I can't go swimming for a while. The fluid keeps draining out and my ear keeps popping, so it's starting to drive me crazy.
I'm on antibiotics though and vicodin so hopefully it will heal up soon.

I hate ear infections!!! :cry:

2. Be sure to take ALL of your antibiotics, sweetheart.

And my husband (he's a doctor) took our daughter's vicodin for her four wisdom tooth extractions away after I think a day or so. Be careful with that stuff. :)

I just can't wait for the infection to be over. I can't hear anything and I am hearing impaired as well!!

5. Me too.. I hte having an illness

I hate it when I can't do the things that I want, though an ear infection doesn't really impede me from doing things like posting on DU.
But I'm having a physical tommorow so I am going to ask her about medication that will help dry up the fluid in my ears. I hate the drops as I find them to be painful.
