Anti Bush Poster thing

Hey, i created this Anti Bush poster collage thing, and i wanted some comments and some constructive criticism. If u have any ideas of how it could be better, i used The GIMP photo editor, so gimme some advice.

1. Where is that sign in the corner from?

And they all contain signs.

5. My son made that

I let him post with my user id since he didn't have a high enough post count. I just told him he had comments on his poster. Only 4 more years until we have another blue voter ;)

4. Everything is of the same importance

(yeah, well, duh, she says to herself. Of course it is.) But artistically you have to decide what is the most important thing and lead the eye there and then guide the eye around the rest of it. Tricks to do that:
1. vary the size of images--bigger and more centered = more important
2. vary the intensity--fade back/blur/grey out less important or less visually interesting stuff

Where did you find the quote/poem in the center? I would love to quote it and give credit.

One thing though, I can't read what the sign in the upper right hand corner says. Make bigger? or something?

I more or less made up the poem thing (with the help of my buddy, George Orwell, who i got "freedom is slavery" and "War is Peace" from)

Yea, im gonna try to fix the sign, but the problem is that its supposed to be 1024x768 (where the sign is legible and the entire thing is comp. background size) but photobucket keeps minimizing it
