So why aren't YOOOOOOU asleep?
Me--I'm bored. Hubby is out of town on business trip, and without him my life is empty and meaningless :) Seriously--I find it much more enthralling to sit in silence with someone else in the room than to sit in silence by yourself.

I have a busy day tomorrow, no doubt, but the beer and reefer keep calling me "Stay up, heddi...smoke more...drink more...we're your friends...we're always with you"

So what's YOUR story? Different time zone? Insomnia? Reefer and Beer?

1. Why? Hell if I Know
I'm alone this evening. My boss is out of town, so I can waltz in at 11AM with no repurcussions. And I have absolutely no self-control whatsoever.

3. Woohoo! Great reason
I have no responsiblities in life. I have an easy schedule -- I take classes from home, online, have no schedule and nothing to do 90% of the day. The 10% of the day that I do things, I'm actually "doing things" like watching TV or running (driving) to 7-11 for some .50 cent week-over-due Ho-ho's....

It might be time to give them a listen

5. They ARE my friends. They DO love me
THEY would never go out of town for 2 weeks for training. They don't even HAVE jobs so that they can be available ANY TIME I WANT THEM :)

Just kidding. Done with the beer, and too late to keep heating up the old piper-oonie. So it's just me, you, and DU.

will you be my friend :) ha ha ha

15. Why yes, yes I would be your friend
But it might be short lived...

I am tired and cranky and the pills didn't seem to work tonight...

Just tired enough to not have a good attention span but not tired enough to fall asleep.....

4. I almost always wake up at this time (about 4:00)
The battle is trying to get back to sleep, which I rarely do. And today, just to start the day off right, I have a migraine. :(

6. ugh. Migranes suck
do you have to go to work in the morning? By your time frame, it seems you're on the East Coast or somewhere in the far Atlantic Ocean :)

Say "hi" to the mermaids for me, if you're in the ocean

My granny used to suffer from migranes. AWFUL things. Stay in the bed for days with no lights, no sound, nothing because every little thing made her head explode

:(

hope you get to sleep soon, or that your day goes well otherwise :)

14. Yes, that's it!
I'm floating on a raft way out on the Atlantic!

and yes, I have to be to work at about 7:30, but the pharmacy isn't far from there, so I'll be able to run for my Imitrex (which I just happen to have run out of, which is why I'm whining about the head).

And I can work on pretty low-key stuff at work until I get drugs and they kick in. Before Imitrex, it WAS the 'days in bed, lights out' thing.

Thanks for the good sleeping wishes... I think I'll go try that now! Nitey night (I hope) :hi: (unless I roll off the raft) :7

got back today but got NO sleep all weekend so crashed about 7--now I'm up! My circadian cycle is all screwed up now.

How could I forget Jazzers stay up all (*reefer and * and beer*) night!

great music, by the way-- I met Ron Carter and Skerik, the Mad Saxophonist!

getting sleepy again...

19. Ten in the morning, or evening?
How "east" are you? LIke "europe-east of New York" east, or "Bangkok--east of London" east (which would technically be WEST for me, but I'm not the one that made the rules :)

17. haha.. you're not gonna believe why i cannot sleep
.... i cannot sleep b/c of my cat... i got my cat from home last night and brought him with me to my apartment so he can live with me.....all night long hes been meowing, walking on top of me and just won't leave me alone.... so i haven't had sleep in over 24 hours.. if i close the bedroom door, he'll either scratch the door, or jump on the door and try to open it...

20. That happened to my husband many years ago
He got a cat from the shelter and meow meow meow for DAYS. it was unrelenting. He even took time off from work to be with the cat, but it didn't abate him.

Finally, hubby had to take the cat back to the shelter and "exchanged" him for the cat we have now, and have had for about 13 years...aww...sebastian :)

26. well i got back a few mins ago. had to take him back home
this makes me sad cause he's my cat. i mean, i know he would settle in eventually, but i cannot have him meowing as loud he was when i live in an apartment (i know my neihbors heard him)....so i dont know what im gonna do now. i want a cat, but it doesn't feel right to get another one, just because mine couldn't get adjusted in a day...
so.. maybe i'll figure something out..
