Well I went and did it
I joined a health club. Treadmills, exercise bikes, arc trainers, weights, exercise balls, medicine balls and a variety of classes at my disposal. Now I just have to stay disciplined enough to go in there several times a week and work out.

2. ha! I tried that once
lasted, oh, three months.

I always found more interesting things to do than work out. Like smoke, and eat high-fat foods.

feh.

at least my body is prepared for the coming famine, I suppose :)

10. Oooh! Good idea. Charge them for using us as those inflatable
jump castles. Or human trampolines.

I'd be up for that. Extra cash is never bad :)

12. That's why I started off with the three-month "trial membership"
Just in case I don't follow through. Then I won't be wasting so much money.

13. I can't do that
But I do save a little bit on water, natural gas, electricity and toiletries--I shower there after working out. They supply shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair styling products, blow dryers and towels.

11. I coulda saved you some money.
I wish I had known you were going to do that. Gardening is much better for you. You get serenity, beautiful flowers and/or vegetables, get to hear the birds chirping and see them flying around stalking the last place you double digged (or should that be double dug?), sore muscles, blisters, you lose weight, get toned, tanned, and that certain feeling the author, Orson Scott Card, calls "the greensong". Free.
