The only advantage of my cube is that the entire South wall is windows across the office, 2nd floor, facing HUGE pines that are nests for winged critters.

Just now, 4 newly fledged babies fluttered up to the mirrored glass, lit on the the ledge and as one started begging their reflections for lunch!

Best part? They can't see in, so I just pulled up a chair 1 foot from from them and watched for almost 2 minutes.

7. Here, from Sunday.

This little one fledged Sunday at my farm. There were originally 5 babies, 2 died shortly after hatching, one died the day before the other 2 fledged. This one I caught as it made it's first attempt. It flew through the stall bars and out the door and landed in the grass. I was able to get these pictures only after I spent 1/2 hour trying to catch my cats and put them inside!
