Grumpybaby is Grumpy....He wants to go spend his ToysRUs
gift cards and Mama has a cold. Anyone wanna take him. He's kicking his favorite stuffed animal around in protest.

***for those in the know the stuffed animal happens to be a panda bear. ;)

1. I'll take him!
But be warned that I'll spoil him rotten - we have no kids of our own to spoil, so we take it out on others' kids!

2. Bottom lip protruding
and hateful, resentful stares at Mom in between? My 19 year old did that to me a moment ago. Phewww, it never ends, ever.

5. When DTBK is done
send him to me next. I do miss the little ones. I could be the best babysitter in the world.

Ahhh, poor Mrs. Grumpy. Seriously, it is awful when that happens. Do you feel good enough to grab him and squeeze him and tell him you love him until he laughs? That used to work for me once in a while.

10. Ahhhh
I don't know how old he is but that is just sweet. It always works when you have the time or feel better (sorry you are ill). I do so miss that, it is gone in a flash but you never ever forget it. Good for you and GrumpySon, he was really living up to his name today!

9. hehe-reminds me of a funny story
Edited on Tue Aug-09-05 07:53 PM by fishnfla
earlier this summer we were hanging out in the back yard with the 3 young ones, setting off fireworks, playing softball, eating ice cream late into the evening. Finally came the dreaded edict:

"OK, kids! Bedtime!" (why do we always say that with a hint of joy in our voice?)

On came the assorted moans, groans and whines. They were having too much fun.

"we dont wanna go to bed! we're having fun!"

They start marching in a circle chanting

"PROTEST!!, PROTEST!!, PROTEST!!!!!"

The clever instigator (10 yo), sensing an effect, goes:

"Keep marching guys, we'll make signs tomorrow!!!"

Me and mrsfish just fell about the place at that.....

PS Yamagachi's are all the rage, can only get them at ToysR Us :hi:
