4. It's the national drink of Michigan |
|
It's actually a very sweet ginger ale. They love it with ice cream.
It's not bad, but I don't see how the natives get so worked up about it.

5. but...but...Iowa corn is so good you can eat it raw |
|
Why ruin it with butter?
It's like smearing BBQ sauce all over a Filet Mingon....you just gotta ask "why?"

6. Actually, Vernors is a very GINGERY ginger ale |
|
it makes Schweppes taste like weak pee. I don't think Vernors is any sweeter than the others. It's that extra zing in it that makes it special.

9. Vernors is a Michigan thing |
|
the butter soaked veggies is an Iowa thing.
None of my relatives are Texan, so I can't comment there - except to say that it gets hot there.
Oh, and they barbeque things too.

|
as long as it is grilled in the husk, corn on the cob can't be beat!

12. I thought a lot of people put butter on their veggies. |
|
I didn't realize that was a regional thing. I'm from Michigan but I've lived a lot of places.
