SBC screwed up and I have to use dial-up for a while..this sucks
They disconnected my DSL because my payment was due *that* day, I paid it and they turned it back on. What they forgot to do was tell the DSL "engineers" and they disconnected me from the server two days later.
Now they tell me it will take up to 4 days to fix their screw up and I have to use this dial up. They said I didn't have to pay for the days I am down though..lol. I guess that will be about 2 bucks.
They have been a pain in the ass the last few months. I didn't pay them on time because they didn't set me up the way I ordered and they were charging me for things I didn't want. What a pain in the ass.

2. But isn't that dial up?
Or do they have a DSL service now?

3. Is this AOL or Compuserve?
They're notorious...

I have acelerated dial-up, and since the phone company did something on the pole, it's cool.

6. Oh man... it drives me nuts
Don't you have a dsl company? Or a cable line? I can't do this dial up too much, it is way to slow.

9. I love SBC, sorry you are having problems
way better than Comcast. SBC is definately more Democrat freindly than the other big alternatives. Comcast will cut you off in a second. All utilities are rather unforgiving about money, sadly.
