2. Well...Interrobang is in Ontario
I am in Washington State. Through the magic of Teh Internets, we have synchronized our schedule so that, though we are in two different places, in two different time zones, we will be in the bath at the exact same time!

It's like distributed networking, but with bathtubs.

8. Ah, but that was not Distributed!
The genius of Distributed Bathing is that, though the participants are both in bathtubs, they are in different tubs in distant cities. But each one knows that the other is also floating in a tub of warm water, possibly with bubbles, and maybe reading.

11. But how does that save water?
Even before the internets, teevees, radios and telephones, people were taking baths. Maybe not as often, but they did it. And they had to understand, even if they didn't really think about it, that others were too. Or they saw them bathing in a communal space.
And shouldn't you keep your computer very far away from your bathtub?

16. Hi, CaliforniaPeggy.
My daughter is as happy as she's been in some time. She's enrolled in college for fall, and her scholarship covered most of that. But she's also very busy outside of the house. I'm letting her have her summer, and then I must let her have her studies.
But she does pay her own bills as she can. I contribute where I can, but she doesn't even want to ask. We've been trying to learn to walk upright in all areas. I've been working on every angle I can to save money on everything. It's amazing how foolishly I let my wife spend my money.
I really just want her to have opportunities. The same that I wish for my son.

14. But were they doing it while physically far apart
Still knowing that the other was also doing it? No! They had no way of synchronizing their baths and turning them into a Distributed Bathing Project!

17. Water is the next shortage.
What sense does it make to have many people bathe simoultaneously? My grandparents had nothing like the conveniences we now have. Come to think of it, neither did I.
