Tell me three things that are really quirky about yourself
Bizarro little habits that you deal with everyday!

Mine:

  1. I always have to sit in the right side of a movie theater and on the farest right if a group of friends. If I variate from that I won't enjoy the movie and I'll get a headache
  2. I can't sleep unless I have some sort of sheet or blanket overtop of me even if it's stinking hot in the room. The sheet doesn't have to cover all of me - even if it's just over my legs I'll be fine
  3. I need 2 alarm clocks to get me up in the morning. Each of those alarm clocks are set anywhere from 15-30 minutes ahead of what the real time is. At this time the only clock in my house that is correct is the computer clock

1. OK...
1. I have to turn around counterclockwise three times before I open a refrigerator door.

2. I always, always, always have to put underwear on right foot first.

3. I tell quirky things about myself that aren't actually true.

2. Mine:
1. I need the sheet thing too, to sleep.
2. I'm alot less particular about little fussy things now that I'm alot older and have little kids that get in the way of the fussy things.
3. I absolutely hate to run out of certain grocery items, esp t.p., even thought the store is only a few blocks away. So I usually have a full pantry.

3. 1. I'm afraid of balloons.
I just can't stand all that potential energy. And I always think a piece will go flying into my eye. In fact, I have a general fear of projectiles.

2. I have to have my feet covered at night or else other people's dreams and nightmares come in through the bottoms of my feet--and if there are no people around, I pick up ghost nightmares. For real!

:P

3. I speak cat.

4. My quirkiness.
1. I only write with one type of pen: Vision rollerball micro.

2. I take 2 excedrins every morning. It's my morning coffee.

3. I can't go to sleep in my bed. I have to drift off on the couch, first, and then move to the bed later.

6. HEY !!!
I do the excedrin thing too :bounce: Caffeine to wake me up, and aspirin, in moderate doses, is good for the heart.

7. I started doing it in grad school...
and now it's just a ritual. I can't begin my day, even if I'm sleeping in on the weekend, without my morning excedrin. :D :hi:

5. Ok..
1. I'm a klutz. Seriously, it's pitiful.

2. I try to avoid laughing around people I don't know well because sometimes I snort or make other weird noises.

3. I can't stand when my toenails get at all long. I think it's really disgusting. :puke:

1. My handwriting sucks unless I have a good quality pen and I am writing on a small stack of paper. Just one piece of paper or a crappy ballpoint, and it's nearly illegible.

2. I am constantly checking out the walls and ceiling for spiders. Can't go to sleep at night without doing a visual sweep of the room. :(

3. I can't drink milk if it's not icy cold. And I have to drink it with food. If it's even a little bit warm, or if it's served alone, forget about it.

Richardo's response reminds me: I must always have something to read. I read in the bathroom. I read while I am brushing my teeth. I can't fall asleep without reading.

9. I also need two alarm clocks set ahead to get up, and I have to check
them in three sets of three or they won't go off.

I have to go through the house and check the doors and the stove to make sure they are locked/off (even if we ate out) before I can sleep.

Any movement while I am watching t.v. or reading (feet moving, children playing) bothers me. :hi:

10. My bizarro habits...

1) I must must must have something to read. Bathroom, meals, waiting rooms, anywhere. Especially before I fall asleep.
2) I eat meals one food at a time - always saving the meat/fish/entree for last.
3) I set my alarm clocks at an 'odd' time (eg 6:03 instead of 6:00); and set my alarm clock an 'odd' time ahead (eg 23 minutes instead of 20 minutes. This way my math-challenged, sleep-addled brain can NEVER do the math in the morning, so I have to get up just to be safe.

12. Oh boy! Here goes:
1. I can't stand it when someone leaves kitchen cabinets open

2. I must adjust any crooked picture I see (and I can do it without a level)

3. The "clip" part of the pen cap must line up with the writing on the side of the pen in order to be properly adjusted.

4. (because it was impossible to narrow this list) I have to sleep with one foot sticking out of the covers - it doesn't matter which foot though.

Gawds - I'm neurotic :D
