Miracle! Man drops dead Saturday nite. Goes home from hospital next week
Cousin & her Hubby were out on Sat night with some friends. Suddenly hubs hits the floor. Heart stopped. A goner.

Luckily one friend is a med student. Did CPR until the ambulance came. Long story short--Cousin's sweet hubs has no heart damage. No brain damage. Will get an implant this week and be home by next weekend.

Thanks for letting me share this. What a week.

Miracles. They happen.

4. My 82 yo father did the same thing last Halloween.
Snow-birding in AZ, dropped like a stone during his morning walk. The only -- only -- State Trooper in the county with a portable defibrillator was 1/2 mile away; he got there in less than 2 minutes.
Dad has 5 new stents and a super fancy pacemaker/defibrillator combo unit; the slightest bit of memory loss (and who can tell if that's the attack or age); and now walks in more populated areas (he was headed for a rarely used trail when this happened).

I'm not much for miracles, but I do know that we can be pretty amazing creatures.

Delighted your cousin's hubby is on the mend!
