let's just say when she left MN Public Radio for the AAR gig, I didn't shed too many tears

I think she's a snooty affected bore.

3. It's the perfect cocktail party laugh

Mostly geniune, at time uncomfortably forced, and sometimes infectious.

My fave is when she can't stop laughing over "high on the hill is a lonely goat herd" lyric from the sound of music, during the "Wait, wait, don't lie to me" game show.

It's so dumb but she honestly can't stop herself from laughing.

5. That cracks me up too.

Since I listen at work I sometimes have it turned down. But when I hear Katherine really start cracking up, I stop and listen.
