2. Jeeze, I hope not...
But in these days of high gas prices, that might get to be a problem for some station owners.

3. I try to time it
when my tank is only 1/2 empty. That way it's less of a hit on the wallet.

And going to Costo helps - usually 2-4 cents cheaper than the others.

4. Fill up w/ debit or cash on payday
Then sometimes we add a couple dollars more a few days before payday, just enough to keep the "low fuel" idiot light off until we get paid and fill the thing up again.

5. I drive for work, with their car and a corporate card....
but I only get compensated right now at .13/mile. The vehicle only gets at best 20-4 MPG, so the gas can go as high as 2.60/gal and I am ok, but this sucks.

6. Filling up 3 times per week, 20 gallons per fill.
I need to move much much closer to work.

:-(

7. Fill up, pay w/ AmEx
Small distinction, but AmEx is a charge card, not debit or credit.

I try to use it for everything, as it offers great protection and reaps us a lot of reward points.

8. For all practical purposes, I fill it up with a credit card....
I like to wait until the damn fuel light has gone on....

And then I fill it up as far as it will go...no topping off, though...

I like to compute my gas mileage, and this regime makes it possible to do accurately...

BTW, I changed credit cards to help a "slightly" more blue company...

I switched from Chevron to Shell...they both give to Repubs..but Shell isn't quite as awful...

And my gas mileage went up as well, when I switched...go figure...

:hi:

9. I have a gas card
For MOBIL of all places so I have to go fill up gas where ever there's a Mobil station. Just feeding the machine I hate... :puke:
