Do you tend to favor actors/actresses who are slightly offbeat?

For some reason, my favorite actors, actresses, even musical acts seem to be just a little bit out there, or slightly unhinged. They may play creepy or crazy roles. They aren't always the "looker" types, either, maybe aside from Johnny Depp and Angeline Jolie.

I love to watch Christopher Walken, Jack Nicholson, William H. Macy, Anthony Hopkins, Kathy Bates, Ian McDiarmid, Steve Buschemi, Christopher Lee, and Ian McKellen.

I dunno why, but I do! :shrug:

6. Oh I loved Gary Oldman in Dracula

When he was dressed to the nines in London...oh my. :loveya:

Adored him as Sirius Black, too. I can't think of anyone who'd have been better in that part. Way before the movies, when I read Prisoner of Azkaban I actually pictured him as Gary Oldman in my head, hehe.

Dammit I even loved him in the Fifth Element. And I was cheering for him in Air Force One. :P

didn't really notice him until "Adaptation" and he was terrific. Then I noticed him in everything: "The Horse Whisperer", "Seabiscuit", the "Bourne Identity", of course, "American Beauty"... he's great. Sneaks up on you, is a terrific actor.

Tom Wilkinson is good, Juliette Binoche, Judi Dench, Helen Mirren. Looove Christopher Walken (I love a man who can dance!).

I don't really like many of the "stars" except Johnny Depp. Don't like Angelina's movies so much as I admire her politics.
