EDITED for correct song. Thank you Mayberry... I also LOVED that cartoon.. when he was found in the cornerstone of the building.

According to the site above, it was based on a true story. I never knew that.

19. Everybody do the Michigan Rag!

Everybody likes the Michigan Rag
Every Mame and Jane and Ruth
From Weehawken to Duluth
Slide, ride, glide the Michigan
Stomp, romp, pomp the Michigan
Jump, clump, pump the Michigan Rag
That lovin' rag!

Lots of good songs in that cartoon.

8. Hello my baby, Hello my honey, Hello my ragtime gal!
Send me a kiss by wire, by wire
Baby, my heart's on fire, on fire
If you refuse me, honey, you lose me
Then you'll be left alone, oh baby
Telephone, and tell me, tell me
Tell me I'm your very own
Tell me that I'm your own

The one cartoon that featured the singing frog is definitely a classic.

Unfortunately the rest of the world thinks we're Yosemite Sam.

22. I love the one where the hillbillies were going to cook Daffy for Thanks-
giving, after he made Tom Turkey all skinny from working out and fattened himself.

"Bet you never saw a wing like THAT on a duck before!"

"I keep a lightin' em, he keeps a blowin' 'em out!"

like that. You must have been vaccinated with a phonograph needle, I can hardly get a word in edgewise...

Trivia note: Foghorn Leghorn is himself a spinoff to a character named Senator Cleghorn from a radio show called Allen's Alley...

30. You're going about it all wrong, son.
That boy's about as sharp as a sack full of wet mice!

The sheer violence of the Foghorn/Hound Dog showdowns were beyond compare. And lots of Rube Goldberg contraptions that resulted in the dog or Foghorn getting their behind painted blue or green at the end!

33. What was the name of the nerd kid he had to babysit?

One of the great moments was when they played hide and seek. Foghorn hid and watched, dumbfounded as the kid did calculations, then pulled a duplicate Foghorn out from some nook!

Miss Prissy, the old lady hen who was in love with Foghorn, sort of "had him around" from time to time.
