Have I mentioned how much I LOATHE my co-workers?

So, I've been traveling for work the last couple of weeks...three days out in the field last week and three more this week. Both trips I was out with 2 other folks. Both trips we had to review 30 Special Education files. Both trips I ended up reviewing 17 of 30 myself. That's right...I reviewed more by myself than my two co-workers did combined.

I'm getting really fucking tired of them slacking off because they know I'll get the goddamn job done.

And then, to top it off, one of the idiots got all snotty and actually cursed at me...in an open conference room with no door where anyone walking by could have heard him. He said a very bad word. No provocation. Totally unprofessional. And I just know I'm gonna walk into work tomorrow and my boss will have already heard about it and be on a rampage and I'll have to deal with it. On top of having to deal with the whole slacker issue.

Oh, and I have to go to work tomorrow instead of going to Crawford to protest. *pout*

I hate my job. Anyone need an auditor/social worker...will do statistics in support of social research for food. :)

He asked a question...I looked up and started to answer and made the GRAVE fucking mistake of pointing at him. He completely lost it.

I'm not speaking to him at this point beyond what is minimally required for work and I will be working to make sure he sees some disciplinary action on this one.

7. Yup...but it's not just him...

I'm mad at. I'm mad at the supervisor who was there in the room and didn't do a damn thing about it.

And I'm mad at all three of the people I've been on these trips with for being practically useless. I did the math tonight. For my next trip out, given the average number of files reviewed per day by the 2 people going with me, I'm going to have to do 21 or 22 files myself in 2.5 days for us to get done. Basically, I'm going to have to work myself into the ground. And right this second I have no motivation to do so.

all the fucking work. This is not a new situation. She whines about my co-workers being useless all the time but she doesn't ever really DO anything about it.

My worry about tomorrow is that my co-worker gets in an hour before I do adn I wonder a) whether the supervisor who was there will even mention it to my boss and b) what bullshit story the guy who cursed will come up with that I'll have to debunk. Mostly it's just a big fucking hassle that I don't need.

If I'm really lucky, I'll tell them all to suck my ass and just walk.

I've wanted out for a long time but you know how it is in a Bush economy. *sigh*

What I really want, is to have a conversation with my boss about the next trip. Instead of sending me...I want her to send the three slackers I've been saddled with the last 2 weeks. I want to see what happens when I'm not there to do every damn thing. I want my boss to make them step up and do their damn job or prove once and for all that they're all useless.
