Sometimes when this place gets kind of empty
Sound of their breath fades with the light
I think about the loveless fascination
Under the Milky Way tonight

Lower the curtain down in Memphis
Lower the curtain down all right
I got no time for private consultation
Under the Milky Way tonight

Wish I knew what you were looking for
Might have known what you would find

And it's something quite peculiar
Something that's shimmering and white
It leads you here despite your destination
Under the Milky Way tonight
Under the Milky Way tonight

Eyesroll's Earworm of the Day is brought to you by my SO's iPod, which has previously caused earworms from 5 different versions of "Lay Lady Lay," as well as "Beers, Steers and Queers" from Revolting Cocks

5. Lessee...
Dylan (of course), Ministry (live AND studio), Isaac Hayes, Magnet feat. Gemma Hayes, Duran Duran, there could be others.

We had a contest to see who could find more versions of songs on P2P -- his was LLL, mine was "Hallelujah." (I found the original Leonard Cohen, Rufus Wainwright, Bono , kd lang, a couple of others...)

9. Honestly, I don't remember offhand
The Isaac Hayes and Ministry ones are exactly as you'd expect them to be...

The Bono version of "Hallelujah" is awful. The rest are decent.

6. He's a big Church fan, and I know very little of it...
...but this song wormed me because it came on the iPod in the car and I realized I knew it from 20 years ago, or thereabouts.
