Does anyone in LBN EVER use the search feature???

I swear I report 15 duplicate posts a day, and skip over another 15 that i'm too lazy to click the button on.

don't even check the top page. I noticed there are dupes within 15 stories of each other.

Some get too excited in the rush of posting breaking news, and there are one or two who are just lazy about it. There are a few 'serial dupers.'

3. I like to think of LBN as DU's imitation of the 24 hour news networks,

where the same story is repeated over and over and over and over...

7. It's the ALERT button under each post

It's most important in LBN because there's a specific rule about dupes. No such rule in other areas.

That's why I never post there anymore, someone always beats me to the punch.

8. I call it "Pressitis"

It happens here, in the lounge as well. People jump on something they find "BREAKING" in the case of LBN and post it, or people stumble across something that was posted 2 weeks ago in the lounge that they find "FUNNY" and post it. Again.

I don't mind that so much, despite my little jab at that one story about that one dude or dudette that did something somewhere that some people considered newsworthy.

It's people who SPAM the different boards that really piss me off.

I HATE seeing the same post by the same poster on the front page of every major forum. It PISSES me OFF!

I'll QUIT with the TOURETTES now. :-)
