Didja see that we are looking to get a few DUers together in next couple weeks? short bus president will be in town next Thursday for 9 days. There's a thread in the WI forum. What are the chances that you could make it down from the sticks? It wouldn't be the same without clergy of your caliber!

12. I really hope you can!
He has a second job interview and they really seem to want him here... badly. They're flying him in for 2nd interview next Friday and assuming he'll be in training the following week. He has some conditions that he'd like them to meet to consider. It's a position that he has years of experience in and it's a bit obscure for the pool of applicants in Milwaukee area.

We'll see...

Low humidity this week, and temps in the 70's - where they should be.

Did you go to the Goat restaurant? :)

19. Al Jonson's?
Not this time but we have been there several times before. My mother-in-law lives in Two Rivers, so Door county is just a day trip for us when we are up visiting. When we were watching the sunset, three of the waitresses from Al Jonson's in their full swedish dresses were goofing around on the public peer across the street from the restaurant. One of the girls was faking like she was going to push one of the others into the lake, and then she lost her grip and the girl really did fall in. Hopefully she did not have to go back to work soaking wet!

13. You're not missing anything....
Green Bay had better hope their OL gets better. That's pretty much what I've gleaned from watching the entire game. The Chargers D isn't exactly fearsome.

20. Not as bad
These pre-season games, especially the first one, are usually pretty worthless as far as evaluation. But GB's OL looked awful in that televised scrimmage against Buffalo. Gave up 8 sacks. SD really hasn't tested GBs rushing defense because Tomlinson isn't playing. Im concerned about their OL because I may draft Ahman Green for one of my fantasy teams.

32. I have had both
My mother in law is distant relatives with the people that own the Von Stiehl winery, so we get to sample it quite a bit when we are up visiting. We actually went to a relatively new winery up near Bailey's Harbor called "Stone's Throw" on our last trip. They ship in grapes from CA (I think Von Steihl does this too) and make some pretty good boutique wines. Only $3 for wine tasting and you get to keep a nice souvenir glass. We brought a couple of bottle back to FL with us. :-)

And NO LIMITS on what you can sample!!
Plus, you get a 10% discount on wine if you buy six or more bottles.

Let's just say I had a lovely afternoon up there, not too long ago. :)
