And besides, if someone is going to set off a nuke, the best place to be is at Ground Zero. You'd be a cloud of plasma in under a millisecond. You'd never know what happened. So, i'll make them a deal. I'll be at Ground Zero, and they can be 2 miles away. Then we'll see who's laughing.

As a New Yorker who worked four blocks from "ground zero" on September 11, 2001, I have often thought how unjust it was that 3,000 perfectly decent people died while "people" like George Bush, Dick Cheney, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, and "freeper"-types in general get to keep right on living.

10. Iran??? Pakistan just successfully tested their first cruise missle

with nuclear capabilities. That is one country that the world should be worried about. It is run by a coup d'tat military dictator who has nixed elections. Missle is capable of a strike against India. And just last week Pakistan agreed to warn India of any tests. But Pakistan said the missle isn't a ballistic so they didn't have to give India the heads up. That's Musharraf is nutshell.

18. Insecuring The Nukes And The Right Wingnuts

Whenever I see a Freeper or his/her/its far-right cousins blathering about how tough they are and about the threat of "nukular" terrorism, I keep remembering whose pet political party consistently underfunded efforts to secure the nuclear stockpiles of the old Soviet Union after its collapse in 1990. I am still worried that at least some of these weapons will fall into the hands of terrorists and that at least one or two will be detonated--no thanks to the right-wing political hacks who were too cheap to see to their secure storage or to their destruction.
