I hate my job
I am overworked and underpaid and I can't take it anymore. It's Friday and I have 2 1/2 hours left of pretending to give a shit still. Bored pissed and trapped. If it wasn't for DU today I don't know what I would do. Grrrrrrrr.

1. I know how you feel,
having been in a state of limbo for a long time. Try to take stock of what you do enjoy in life and work towards that. I've learned that just looking for another job title up the ladder doesn't always do it.
I'd like to have my own business. But what business is the question.

5. Amen to that
Fuckity fucking Cocksuckers! You took the words out of my mouth. I'd work with dogs if I won the lottery. People aren't even close to being as great as doggies.

If I didn't win the lottery but still had to work I'd like to open up a pet motel on the water. It would also be a doggie day spa and I think that I would also bake gourmet doggie treats. Until I have any sort of ability to do this I have to grind it out and pay my dues.

My frustration is that I am a techie person with many skills being utilized but my compensation isn't equal to what I offer. I had to work here for a few years to pay my dues but when I asked for a big raise I got a small one with a promise of bonuses when I complete projects. I am now convinced that is total bullshit and in the meantime I'm juggling bills based on which one is the most late and driving 45 minutes to get here with huge gas costs and tolls. I am so not looking forward to the whole process of getting another job but I just can't afford to work here anymore. During the week I am so stressed out that on the weekend I only want to relax hence not working on getting a new job. Yet I know the signs of needing to leave and I'm certain that the clock is ticking for me. It sucks cause I would probably have a different attitude if I was paid more. They also save a lot of money having me too because they don't have to pay consultants.

The weekend cannot come fast enough.

3. Then why don't you quit it?
And find something you will like.
