My mom, PMSmom57 on DU, is having serious abdominal and chest pain and we just called 911 to have her checked out. It could be a reaction to something she ate or some medicine she's taking.

She was checked out and was taken to the hospital with the paramedics. I'm now home alone and updating DU before I head down the road to a friend's house.

Greatest news is that all vitals are there and strong, but we're thinking it could have something to do with the medicine and maybe she has to get an appendectomy.

She's being tested at the hospital now, and I believe a urine sample is necessary to really help. Conflicting reports on kidney stones, and we're not sure when she or my dad will be home.

76. It's kidney stones.

She's been home since about 11 last night, but she seems to be feeling normal now. I don't believe the stone has passed yet, but she's got medicine she's taken so it seems she's feeling alright.

Thanks for all of the prayers, the hugs, the karma, the wishes, and everything DU has given us. I really truely appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
