Edited on Fri Aug-12-05 09:09 PM by pstans
Here in Marshalltown, IA some stations had it at $2.45 and some at $2.47, so I bet it will be at $2.47 or higher tomorrow morning. It was $2.20 something before King Fahd died 2 weeks ago.

15. $2.69.9 for premium, today, in Kansas City. Ouch.
People were actually groaning as they used the pumps.

I'm glad my car gets good mileage and that I don't have to drive much. But my gosh, what if you depended on it for a living?

plus they'll pump it for ya! I make a point of never buying gas when I'm over in PA for the day, it's way more expensive across the river for some reason.

39. $2.48 here in Tallahassee, Florida
There was an article in today's "Tallahassee Democrat" describing how these crazy high gas prices are going to affect low income families. Consensus was...they are not going to be able to drive. I live paycheck to paycheck just like everyone else...I don't know what will happen if gas prices go as high as $4.00 a gallon like what I'm hearing.

Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 11:22 AM by Seabiscuit
That was as of Monday morning when I gassed up to drive to Las Vegas. Haven't been to the pump here since so I expect after this week's new record prices for a barrel 5 days in a row, it will now be higher.
