It has to come as a shock to the commander that someone he cared for, and entrusted with a highly dangerous, vital mission, would turn out to be one of the enemy. It really makes everything he thinks he knows up for grabs.

Also, just getting over taking two rounds in the chest can make someone a little more precarious emotionally. I got mugged--not shot--at gunpoint and it made me rethink a whole lot of things in my life. If the kid who robbed me had pulled the trigger, well, who knows?

I think BG is undoubtedly the best SF I have seen in years. To me it blows Star Trek and Star Wars totally off the map.

I give it another couple of months before it gets cancelled. ;^(

I think Boomer is a "white hat" character or a true good guy. My pet theory is that she learned some things from her sisters on the base star... perhaps that Adama was a cylon... maybe THE lead Cylon. And she thought she could rebel against her programming.... and do the right thing.

Adama cried because he didn't understand why she would turn against him and the Cylon plan.

Who knows?

I think the genius of the show is how the writers have developed circumstantial evidence for so many characters that would implicate them as Cylons.

from where the ship come that supported the action at the "hospital" (when one of the new models was shot) as boomer left?

starbuck was the one leaving the hospital? the rest of the gang tried to assault the hospital but were under fire from the "toaster" cylons.... boomer flew in the cylon ship & shot them up, and then they all escaped on the cylon ship piloted by Boomer.
