1. The effects were cool

I loved Tim Robbins' character...but I felt that the plot was weak.

2. imho, this movie sucked big time. Have two little ones and hardly

ever get out to see movies. I actually fell asleep during this movie. The plot line was stupid and unbelievable (even for sci fi). all hype. Wait till it comes out on dvd if you haven't seen it yet.

Followed H.G. Wells' original story quite closely. Non stop action. More of a horror movie and science fiction.
